FAQ

Is Poison in the Legendary rarity group?
Poison is Epic. Battle Lightning belongs to the Legendary group.
Where does the Poison explosion occur?
The explosion occurs in an area around the user, making approach and nearby threats part of the decision.
What must an enemy do to take mist damage?
The mist damages targets within its area, so target movement affects the usefulness of its placement.
What does Stop Clone ask the summon to do?
Stop Clone asks the clone to stop and hold its position.
How does Order Clone differ from placing mist?
Order Clone directs the summon toward a target. Mist placement creates a damage area and is a separate action.

What does the Poison Grimoire offer in Clover Time?

Poison is an Epic Grimoire that combines a ranged projectile, continuing mist damage, an explosion around the user, and a fighting clone. These four roles give it several positioning choices during an encounter. Learn the attack areas and clone commands separately before trying to manage every part of the kit at once.

Poison is in the tower’s Epic group alongside Explosive Flame. The Grimoire tier list compares its PvE role with the rest of the ten-book roster.

How do the projectile, mist, and explosion differ?

The projectile sends an attack toward a target, mist creates an area that continues damaging enemies inside it, and the explosion occurs around your character. Each therefore asks a different positioning question: can the shot reach, will the enemy stay inside the mist, and can you approach safely enough to use the explosion?

Poison attack Area relationship Practice focus
Projectile Travels toward the target Aim and reach
Mist Damage area containing the target Placement and enemy movement
Explosion Area around the user Approach and nearby threats

Keep the enemy’s attack range in mind when moving from ranged pressure into a closer exchange.

How do you think about Stop Clone and Order Clone?

Stop Clone tells the summon to stop and hold its position, while Order Clone tells it to focus on and attack a target. Clone control is a separate task from aiming a projectile or placing mist. Practise the commands while watching the summon so its behaviour remains clear during movement and spell use.

Clone command Intended behaviour What to watch
Stop Clone Stop and hold position Where the clone remains
Order Clone Focus on and attack a target Which enemy the clone engages

Treat the clone as an additional tool to manage, rather than assuming that placing a mist area also directs the summon.

When is Poison worth comparing with a sword kit?

Compare Poison when you want ranged pressure, a damaging area, and a summon alongside movement. A sword kit such as Anti Magic instead emphasises close-range attacks, approach tools, and a counter. Decide around the enemy and the positions you can maintain, then practise one part of the preferred kit before combining its tools.

Read Anti Magic sword skills for the contrasting combat roles. The beginner guide covers basic-attack practice and tower navigation, while race choices help frame the character’s supporting passives.
